Tech Tuesday - Beyerdynamic Quinta System

In this Tech Tuesday, we take a look at the Quinta Wireless Conference System, a portable, wireless, audio conferencing solution that offers mobile functionality created by Beyerdynamic.

 How it Works

The Quinta system offers a portable system's convenience while also delivering the sound quality expected from a high-end audio conferencing solution. There is no electrical integration, extensive wiring, or a requirement for holes to be drilled into a table. The system's central unit can either be stored on a rack or elsewhere in a room, connecting to all wireless microphone systems and delivering it to the audio output location. Generally, the audio output location is a set of speakers in a council chamber or a video conferencing unit such as a display.

The Quinta offers a wide range of microphone units, including gooseneck, handheld and Revoluto, paired with a control unit. The control unit allows the user to switch the microphone on or off at any time, keeping noise disturbance to a minimum.

Ideal Use Case

The Quinta is the ideal solution for council chambers, and large boardrooms as the system delivers high-quality audio across a considerable distance. Through the central unit, audio output can go to any device, making it perfect for video conferencing. It is compatible with all video conferencing platforms, including ZoomWebexGoogleMeet, and Microsoft Teams, and with its portability and instant room connection capabilities, the Quinta is great for impermanent conferencing locations.
