 How it Works

The Crestron MPC3 is a wall-mounted, POE-powered control system, automated processor, and control panel, all in one. The unit's control capabilities include AV system, video display, lighting, window shades, you name it. It's a simple yet powerful controller that is an excellent solution for compact spaces.

Each of the backlit capacitive buttons can be labelled using the icon chips provided or custom labelled using laser-engravable chips (sold separately). An AV integrator determines what is required upon installation, and the panels are customized accordingly.

Proximity sensors built into the MPC3 detect movement allowing the buttons to wake up when a user approaches. The auto-brightness control ensures optimal visibility of the buttons, regardless of the lighting conditions.

A blue backlit button indicates that the device is active and, when inactive, the backlit buttons are white. This feature makes it clear what media source or lighting scene is selected.
